1 in 4 people will suffer with a diagnosable mental health disorder in a given year.

Mental health disorders are the leading cause of disability in the U.S.

Approximately 33,000 Americans including 5,000 under the age of 25, take their lives each year.

Last year, 600 people living in Broward County lost their lives to an opioid overdose.

Join Us to learn the most know facts about mental illness and how individuals can recognize the signs of someone dealing with a mental health crisis and how to offer support and the resources available.

You Will hear about Henderson programs as well as mental health awareness, mental health first aide and how to recognize the signs of mental illness and be proactive.


Lee Wein

I have been an employee of Henderson Behavioral Health since August 1999. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University in 1986 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from University of South Florida in 1984. At Henderson I am the Compliance Officer and Director of Quality Management. My department and staff manage Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Training and Compliance for the organization. My position also manages the accreditation process for the organization, managed care contracting and auditing/compliance. I am the Chair of the AVATAR National Users Association; the Co-Chair of Netsmart’s CWS work group and a principle member of the Statewide Managed Care Medicaid workgroup. I am a certified trainer for Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
